Sheriff Paul C. May has released the following information:
RE: The Joy of Reading On January 31, 2012, several members of the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office participated in the “Joy of Reading Celebration”, at Central Elementary. This is a program that members of the community can become involved in by attending the celebration at the school and choosing a class to read to. Books are provided by the school, age appropriate for each class. On February 1, 2012, Ms. Jennings of Central Elementary, came to the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office and presented a certificate for their participation, signed by Principal Randy Paulson. Those that participated are pictured with Sheriff May and Ms. Jennings: Sheriff Paul May, Undersheriff Noel Stephen, Joan Johnson, Ronda Butler, Ms. Jennings, Mariah Anuez and Shirley Till Michele Bell, Public Information Officer Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office 504 NW 4th Street Okeechobee, Florida 34972 This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
